Good morning.
The hurricane has already effected at least one thing here in the Carolinas. The Pelicans game was rained out last night and because of the extended forecast with Irma headed this way, the league has changed it from a best of 5 game series to best of 3 games. They'll play an away game tonight, weather permitting, then come home to play game 2 and if necessary game 3. But instead of playing tomorrow and Saturday, if they have to play game 3 it'll be the second game of a doubleheader tomorrow.

Morning BN.
Harvey, Irma, Jose, Katia. Who would have thought that the "busy hurricane season" forecasted by tha National Weather Service meant four storms in a span of two months.

Hiya BN. Guess I'll be sorta grateful that all we're dealing with is a lot of smoke, and no wind/rain/damage.

Glad to hear that Ravi left KW, but Jack is staying.

Seeing all of the pictures of where Irma has devastated the islands is heartbreaking.

Not looking good for most of Florida, nothing expected here in the panhandle except maybe a little breeze. I'm remaining ready if Irma decides to keep moving west, bug out bag is packed. Haven't prepped the boat tho, probably go sailing this weekend.

Will that sail be anything like "Sailing in a Hurricane"?
Sorry, someone had to make the misquote...

On the 6:00 news, the local weather guesser said the forecast track of Hurricane Irma has slightly shifted to the west. While that's good for my part of South Carolina, it sucks for most of Florida, southern Georgia and southern South Carolina. He also said any effects we get from the storm won't be for another 4 days and it could shift again but he's "cautiously optimistic."

Ahoy!
I just ordered a banner of my body art display boards. If I ever get brave enough to fly to a concert, I'll have a display that will travel.
