Not for awhile. Showers today. We have a large craft fair tomorrow which means good eats for me.
Do you get a break this weekend?

Last 1/2 day of work this short week. Then off to New Joysie to visit the Carlo crew!

I have to work a at least a few hours on Saturday. Aside from that we are just doing lots of work around the house, painting and sprucing up.

Good morning. My old high school football team has it's home opener tonight. For over twenty years now I've worked at
the home games as "press box usher". My job is to stand on top of the press box and keep people off that don't belong there.
I also scan the crowd from up there and keep an eye on trouble makers. It's the best seat in the house and I get paid to be there.

G'morning! Still hazy here, but at least we can't SMELL it. Minor issue compared to Irma stuff. High of about 86 today. We're still pretty warm. Exciting agenda today? Getting a haircut.

58 degrees right now in my corner of the world.  Well, at least it's not snowing ... yet.
Although I can remember times when we did start seeing snowflurries in late September.

Good afternoon BN. It's a beautiful day on the Gulf Coast. I'm hanging by the pool today, chilly low 60's this morning but warmed up to the 80's.

So last work call just ended. I thought "Let me turn on RM while I finish up paperwork." Just in time to hear Matt Hoggatt suggest hiring him for house parties. Turned it right back off.

He is just dreadful.

The Pelicans lost last night, now they come home for the 2nd and, if necessary, 3rd game of the Southern Division Championship Series. The Carolina League announced earlier today that they're cancelling the final round of the playoffs and will be naming co-champions after the Southern Division and Northern Division championships are over. I bought the Pelicans playoff package for $25 - tickets to all potential home games and an all you can eat picnic before the first game, which is tonight. Since there won't be a league championship series, tonight will be the only home playoff game. I better get there early and get my money's worth at the picnic.
