Still around 80 fires on the list for the state.

A couple of cool fronts have moved through so the intensity has reduced.

The nearest ones to me are contained, but as we have a strong wind warning for today, a bit of vigilance won't go astray.
It's dreary here with the clouds off the Great lakes from November till March with snow squalls to add to the winter blues, but a safer place can't be found. We have no floods, Nor'easters, hurricanes, forest fires to worry about. Thirty years ago, tornadoes killed people and once I felt an earthquake, but that's it.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Looks like my previous plan to get hurricane supplies might be a good one.
Too bad you're in Boston, I evacuated to New Jersey.
How mych longer are you going to be in NJ?
As of now, until Monday.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
