I figured "what the hell, my day is ruined anyway" so then I called Comcast to try and get some help from them on an email/voicemail problem... another hour down the drain!
Being a total masochist, I then called Sirius/XM but had better luck with them and got the next 6 months of service for my wife's car for $33.12 instead of the $106.45 they billed me.
And last week I spent 2.5 hours on hold with unemployment. I even went to the bathroom once. Put the phone on speaker, while I watched TV. The gal that helped me was awesome, tho.

Ahoy! We drove to a church hosting Peter Mayer next week. We wanted the easiest route back to a hotel. Winter sets in soon and this made it easier.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I was going to suggest the consumption of beverages. But adult beverages are probably not a good idea at this point. Hope you heal quickly.

Morning BN. Have a good one.
I took 4 pain pills between Thursday at noon & Sunday at bed time....The bottle was then put away.....so your idea may come to fruition. So long as I remain sitting :)

I've had 3 knee surgeries. The first time, I only took a pain pill when I really really needed one. My recovery was long and painful. Prior to my second surgery, the nurse explained to me that the pain pills weren't for when I was hurtin', but rather to keep me from hurtin'.... I took them as prescribed and recovered much more quickly and pain free.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

She's tuff but also hard headed. As hard as Dr's are on giving pain pills out nowadays, if it's prescibed, it's needed.

I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee 20 years ago. The surgeon gave me a prescription for a pain killer (I don't remember what is was) and good little boy that I am, I had it filled. Never took any of them though.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here
