Hi Bill & BN!

I'm layed up (literally) with some sorta foot issue. I've not injured it in any way but it's swollen with infection. Xray showed nothing so next up is an ultrasound.

How's the tooth Bill?

My infection cleared up in one day. That happened before, but it usually means antibiotics.

It was a little cool this morning but it's supposed to be 75 degrees this afternoon. As soon as the coffee pot is empty, I think I have to get outside. Even if it's just for a leisurely stroll in the park, I have to take advantage of this weather.

Hi Tuesday!

The laundry basket was full this morning but it's such a beautiful day I didn't want to waste time during laundry. I had a nice 2 mile walk around the lake in the park, stopped at a place I had never been to before for a couple of beers and a cup of very tasty chicken enchilada soup, had a nice chat with a cute bartender whose dad was born in Brooklyn (like I was) and grew up in Bethpage (not far from Valley Stream, where I grew up). Now it's laundry time.

Hi BNers, last day for the 70's, looks like we won't even see 60 again until next week week. Ugh.

Ahoy! A waitress at our diner wistfully lamented that her little daughter wanted"a million unicorns for my birthday." She has 4 kids with little extra money. I suggested stenciling her bedroom. I came home and cut her some unicorn stencils, then went back to the diner with paint and instructed her on application. she was tickled. Life is good today.
