Good Morning, Bill and BN!
We are busy with a baby who is slowly winning over the heart of our older cat. Wowza, i forgot how busy kittens can be
Definitely is changing this old lady's morning routine, but I don't mind.
I need to start wrapping presents or else I may have to move Christmas to another day. Not sure that will work so I guess I better get busy.
Ribbons and bows will be fun with a baby I bet....
Have a wonderful Sunday, all!

Good morning. It was 32 degrees when I woke up this morning, and I'm not a perky morning person so it wasn't the crack of dawn. It's up to 48 now.

Last week I got to see the
Giants on the 1:00pm game on Fox. This week the
Jests are on the 1:00pm game on CBS. Good thing I bought a 12 pack the other day.

We're off to brunch - Dukes on Sunday!

It's within walking distance, but it's pretty cold out there, so we'll drive.

That brunch menu looks really good. They also have several beers I've never had, a couple I've never heard of.

Ahoy!
We had an ice sculptor at the holiday lights last night. He carve a train engine large enough for small kids to fit in and an eagle five feet high. From a block of ice , he carved an ice luge for our New Years party. It was tailgaitworthy.

They have great food. Nothing fancy foo foo, just good. We've been going there for about 7 years. Brunch or dinner. Bacon, egg, cheese sammich for me, chicken fried steak and eggs for E

Lived in New England for almost 10 years now. Never have so many Giants games been aired as this season. [sigh]

Sounds like my kind of place... my wife keeps dragging me to foo foo places where there's nothing "normal" on the menu and every item has some ingredient that I don't know or can't pronounce or can't stomach.
Jimmy needs a new verse for Fruitcakes:
"Take for example when you go to a restaurant these days, you know.
They try to sell you this foo-foo drink, 8 ounces of muddled something or another for an extra 5 bucks.
I don't want it.
I don't want that much organization in my life.
I don't want other people thinking for me.
I want my steak and potatoes.
Where did the steak and potatoes go in the restaurants?
I don't want a vegetarian, gluten-free Quinoa Salad for 25 dollars.
I want steak and potatoes."

We have a place down here called River City Cafe, I think there are 6 or 7 locations. I've been to 4 of them and they're like the restaurant equivalent of a dive bar but they have the best burgers in town. Whenever I feel like chowing down on a burger, that's my first choice. Besides, I like going to places where I can wear shorts or jeans, depending on the season.

Every once in a while we'll try a new place, but only after we've looked at the menu online. We both rolled our eyes when we heard a woman order the chicken fried steak with egg white scrambled eggs.. Kinda defeats the health purpose.

Oh cool, I would have loved to have been there! Did you get any pointers for me? You should bring him/her to a tailgate so we can talk.

He dressed out the angled block of ice with an electric chain saw and had a big grinder to bore a curved track in the ice. I had tool envy.
