I think Fenway Park is still very likely. And FWIW the cheapest ticket for Pearl Jam at Fenway Park is $110. This is the cost after all the fees are added in.

Fenway is most definatley in play. I'll put the odds at 99% to 1%. Only becuase nothing is guarenteed , except death and taxes.

I just experimented by typing in www.redsox.com/jimmybuffett. This is how the URL's for any Fenway shows are setup. Starting today, when you type that address in, the URL now jumps to the following format: https://www.mlb.com/redsox/tickets/conc ... my-buffett

It was NOT doing this 2 days ago...it was simply diverting you to the main red sox page. So, something has happened over the past 24 hours...most likely preparing the page for the upcoming announcement?

Heard tonight that offically Buffett will be at Fenway Park in 2018 from a ticket agent (aka scalper) who deals with Ace Ticket often. He wasn't 100% of the date but said he heard the week of July 15th or early August. He was certain it wouldn't be in June. He said they already have tickets committed to be acquired and ready to sell go once the date is nailed down. He also said he thinks face value will be on the higher end of what is the norm for Buffett which makes the secondary market he is in a bit concerned they'll make any profit.

Heard yesterday that early August was the likely choice. The odds of me going to see him at Fenway were pretty low as it was, now with it being a Thursday show it is almost null. That would mean two days out of work. Maybe this means a closer Saturday show will be added? Jones beach, Mohegan, Bangor... He has Aug 4 in Virginia and now August 9 in Boston so other shows will be added and some should be in the North East area.

I'll have to see if JB is a Sat. That's if he plays it. The traffic will s*** on a Summer Sat. on LI. If i do Fenway , i'd take a half day , and maybe head down to the Cape for the weekend. I know the Beach Boys are at the Melody Tent on the 11th.

Well, a non-Saturday show just removed all doubt for me. Not doing that for Fenway. There's always next year hopefully.

Meadowbrook would be new and different.

There was little to no chance of me going to a Fenway show, but now it's a definite no. I already chose the 12 games for my partial season ticket package for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans and one of the games is August 10. A Buffett concert in Boston August 9 and a baseball game in Myrtle Beach August 10 ain't happening.

I'd love for Jimmy to play Woodstock again. That was awesome. Great venue in an absolutely beautiful setting.
