Hey phellow parrotheads!

Did anyone score tickets to Alpine Valley? I got through online after thirty-five minutes and got seats in the fourth row, right side of the stage (like the last two seats in the row), but hey, it is fourth row, right? (Okay, if someone in the know tells me these really s*** and are obstructed view somehow, I'm gonna cry in my margarita.)

I'll be truckin' over with a load of sand in bed of the Dakota from Michigan and hope to meet up with a few funloving folks!

What a way to close out the summer.......

Alpine has little or no obstructions so I am sure that you will be fine. I will also be coming from MI. There always seems to be a lot of PHs from MI there. Nice to see...

4th row? You are in prime real estate. In the seated sections there are no obstructions. Most likely those tickets were released by buffetts group.(I used to work at Alpine Valley).

Last year the party started about 1PM...I know this cause I was the first car in the lot. Alpine says the lots don't open till 3, but when they had 100 cars lined up along side the road they were forced to open...we will have to do the same thing this year

Would you be in section 103? We had 103 row A last year, seat 2-4. You should have a decent view of Jimmy, but probably won't see the screen or the horn section, but who cares as long as you can see Jimmy. We won't see much this year, we are in the grass, had a bunch of friends decide we should all sit together for a change. 5 months and counting.....

I'm confused, and need advice for next time when playing the Ticketmaster game. How did someone get 4th row seats 35 minutes after 10 AM, when I was second in line and couldn't get any Pavilion after 35 seconds. If you request fewer seats, do you have a better chance of getting up close? (say, go for 2 pavilion seats vs. 6 pavilion seats?)

4th Row 35 minutes after they went on sale? Sometimes tickets are purchased but when the credit card is processed it is rejected and then the tickets are released...that would be my guess

I know we had at least four groups of people at different TM locations. Only one group scored...first 5 numbers!!! So everyone else left for home, secure in the knowledge that we would be getting the tickets we wanted. Needless to say, we didn't, but fortunately we did get some tickets. First in line got 8 pavilion, the next lawn. So we ended up with 8 seats and 16 lawn. Not bad. I'm just glad to be going!!!! I would tell people out there that there is safety in numbers. The more people you have, the better off you are. Not to mention with cell phones, we had Buffett Central where everyone called in to say where we were in line. I think it was cuz I was wearing my Buffett Fins socks that we got lucky!!!! For all of you that didn't get tickets, I'm so sorry.

Yep, I'm in section 103, row A. I could care less about seeing anyone but Buffett, so as long as I can see JB, I'm a very happy camper!

I never give up on TM, even though I hate thier system. I got lucky as could be that those seats popped out after 35 minutes...the ticket Gods had to have been smiling down upon me that day!

Good luck to all who didn't get seats....don't give up!
