Good Morning Bill. We finally see the sun today. But there's more snow to shovel this morning before we head out for our 2-hr delay.

It looks pretty but I've seen enough now -- we topped out at 15".

Not a lot going on today. More applications to do (just in case - so I can continue my unemployment benefits for my last month). E's got PT tonight. It's gonna be near 70 so I'm popping open windows soon.

Hopefully the East coast will be done with snow!!

Good morning. Our schizophrenic weather continues - it was 75 degrees Tuesday, 53 yesterday and 37 when I woke up this morning. Last night the weather guesser said we'll have a freeze warning overnight every day through Sunday.

we shoveled twice yesterday and when it was still snowing when we went to bed said -- oh well, we'll figure it out in the morning. This morning there wasn't too much to shovel but we were glad to have a 2 hr work delay.

I was a good citizen and made my bi-weekly trip to the recycling center today. I was about 1/2-3/4 of a mile away from the light where I have to turn to get there and traffic just stopped dead. As I inched my way forward I thought there was probably an accident, the road is only 2 lanes in each direction so accident, lane closed, traffic backed up, made sense to me. When I got to the intersection the right lane was closed but not because of an accident. There were 5 vehicles from the Horry County PD on the side of the road and they had at least one guy in handcuffs. I went to the recycling center and dropped off my stuff and on the way home when I was headed in the opposite direction, 3 patrol cars from the sheriff's department went screaming up the road. I wonder what was going on? It can't be just a routine arrest with 8 police vehicles involved.

I checked the website of one of the local TV stations and found a story saying that a routine traffic stop turned into a car chase, an overturned car and an arrest. No injuries and no other information. The ambulance and the fire department vehicle weren't there when I drove by. I didn't see the overturned car either, it was on the other side of the intersection and traffic was backed up on the side road too so my view was blocked.

Thanks, Linda! I was supposed to have another interview next week, and they asked me today if I could make it tomorrow. So, off I go!! I have FOUR good possibilities, so everything is crossed!!!
