Morning BNers
Today is sweet because it is Chocolate Covered Raisin day.
Is there anyone that doesn't like choc covered raisins?
AND
Texas Tech University is going to the ELITE EIGHT!
This is the first time ever getting this far in the tournament. Can't believe they beat Purdue!
Congratulations Red Raiders!

Good morning Molly and BN. It's 15 degrees with warmer temps to come. We need them, with the egg hunt in town as well as the XMAS light displays will be stored. They are staked into the ground and hopefully not frozen in.

Good morning BN. Yum love chocolate raisins!
Another beautiful spring day here, mid 70's and sunny. Looks like I'll be doing yard work and cleaning the pool.

Good morning.
We're down to the last 8 teams in the NCAA tournament and I have an outside chance to win my bracket in the Carolina Ale House contest. The first place finisher in each restaurant in the chain gets a $100 gift card. I'm tied for 3rd out of 20 entrants in the Myrtle Beach restaurant and if I get 6 of the last 7 games right I'll win. I can't get all 7 right because I had Virginia going to the Final Four and they lost in the first round. I looked at the overall standings and I'm 17th out of 500, not bad for a non-basketball fan.

I did a bracket on line with a local radio station.....I was out after the 2nd round of games. Of course, I pick teams by their color or mascot so I'm not surprised at my standings

Did you pick Tech? I think everyone is in shock that they have made it this far.

No brackets for me this year.
Nice, but windy day again today.
Time to make some breakfast, and off to Mom's. Wish me luck. I'm taking her to look at new shoes and socks. She's convinced they're making her fall, and they slip around.

I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be surprised. They finally started playing a good game last night. They really need to work on their 3 pointers.
Good luck with the shopping, ((((Penny))))

ahoy! We were to start tearing down and storing displays at 10. I got a message that said 9. So did 50 high school athletes and coaches. The rest of the crew showed and we finished in 2 hours. I didn't sleep well, so a nap is coming.

It's cool, damp and windy so instead of taking my daily walk on the boardwalk I went to a park that's a couple of miles inland. On the way home I saw a billboard advertising $1 beers for happy hour today from 4-7pm. At the aquarium.

I didn't even know they had a bar.

All of your local posts are making us seriously consider moving to your area. But we want to be abt an hour from a beach. One that’s not full of tourists.... are there any of those in the US

Evening, peeps. Another little dusting of snow tonight because why not?

But we're slowly warming up and heading from snow season to mud season, right on time. Pup loves it all, of course.
Hope y'all are having a lovely weekend.

Quiet night at Ringville. Started our Saturday with me hosting a breakfast for 11 church girlfriends.
Kevin was out getting a haircut cut, brewing with a friend and then out for a guys lunch.
Then a gym trip for me and painting some trim pieces. Guy from church (you know we don’t do home improvement stuff) is framing out our master bath mirror.
Since I’ve had 2 nights in a row of crappy sleeping and been fighting a massive headache all day (it’s winning) I’m heading to bed soon. Night night friends

Hope the headache clears, Linda.
I did Mom's weekly shopping. Most of the groceries, I got at my local store. Then I took her to Walmart (ick) for a few things. The to Bed/Bath/Beyond for two things she didn't NEED, but you can't convince her of it. Then to Famous Footwear, to try and find her some new shoes. THAT was a battle. Wrong colors, size, slip on, tie with shoe laces (OMG, NO!!). She slightly sprained her ankle and has two bruised toes last week, so it was difficult to get her something she likes. OY.
Finally got home, and enjoyed an adult beverage and E and I went out to dinner.
