Good morning BN. A work out is the high light of my day.

I need to go fishing.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

G'morning!! :) Yesterday I nearly turned on the AC, as we got to mid 70's. Overnight we had a dusting of snow. :D

Today I think I'll clean the pantry and fridge again. It's time.

Nothing else going on. :(

Morning, peeps.

That little snowstorm that blew through NJ/NY yesterday was enough to cause all sorts of flight delays. Spent six hours at EWR to take our 55 minute flight home.

Good morning. It was 77 degrees yesterday, it's supposed to be 77 again today and 75 tomorrow. Thursday when I go to the Pelicans opening day game, 60 during the day and 45 at night. Game time is 7:05, I better bring a jacket with me when I go to the ballpark.

Morning Bill, Deb, melon, Penny, Lime, Larry, Salt, Janice & BN!

Today will be doing mostly nothing except laundry & some light house cleaning. O/T on Fri then my weekend to work. Sat morning we had a 79 yo lady with dementia go missing and we started the search for her around 8 am. After an extensive search, we left (without finding her) @ 0500 with plans to get a few hours of sleep & resume the search @ noon. We had put out several automated calls to residents in the area ref the search to keep an eye out for her & she was found by 1 of the citizens about 10:30! We have a book that was created based on thousands of past searches of 'how & where' to search depending on the reason the person is missing (dementia, suicidal, autistic etc.). She was in really good shape and walked well out of the area where we were looking. Anyway, I put in 23 hrs for Sat, got 5 hrs of sleep and put in 8 hrs on Sun & finished up my weekend with 12 hrs yesterday.

At least it's cloudy/drizzly & cool outside so I won't feel bad about the couch surfing I will be doing today [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]
You're only as young as you are right now. Make the best of it!

I had to call customer service about a charge on one of my credit cards that has to be reversed. The rep I spoke to was very helpful, he even agreed to reverse a $2.00 service charge that I wasn't even calling about, but he sounded like Queer Eye For The Straight Guy helping me with my finances. At the end of the call, I thanked him for his help and he said "thank you for allowing me the pleasure of assisting you today." A simple "you're welcome" would have been fine.

Aloha all , Another miserable day here in CT , raining and raw. The Hartford Yardgoats ( Colorado Rockies AA team) are suppose to open Thursday night. Looks like it will be a chilly evening. At least they play, the only day of the week , where rain , or snow isn't in the forecast. I thought I'd be playing golf by now.

Afternoon BNers

I think I survived whatever was going on yesterday.
Now we are waiting for a plumber.....Have a few things that need to be done, including a leak in the dishwasher or sink. Anyway, we have a wet carpet.

I hope if I go missing there are people like you around to come look for me (unless I don't want to be found :) then nevermind)

The Pelicans announced their opening day roster today but there are 27 guys on it and you're only allowed to have 25 in uniform for the games. Two of them are going to be disappointed Thursday. Ten of the 27 are from last year's team and 1 of those 10 was also on the team in 2016 so he's about to start his 3rd year here. This is Class A, three levels below the major leagues. If a player is here for 3 years, it might be time to start looking for another line of work.

Just read something like this about a lost hiker in Joshua Tree. Very compelling.

OK.....
Been waiting since noon for a plumber. He was scheduled between 1-3.....Still waiting. I know he was finishing up a job, but shouldn't someone let us know he is running late.
I normally wouldn't mind but we can't use the dishwasher. Yes, I could hand wash, but I would rather use the dishwasher....I feel like everything gets cleaner and sanitized. So dishes are stacked on the counter and cooktop. [smilie=asa.gif]
