I wish my local NBC morning news anchor (who I really enjoy) would stop pronouncing Illinois as ELlinois. Drives me nuts.

Not a lot else going on - just some stuff to do around the house.

Good morning all. BIg work week after taking our kids and grandson to Disneyland last week. Great time. It’s sometimes hard to believe we all were once children with the capacity of experience that much joy, excitement and wonder. Have a great day!

Good morning. I have nothing to do and all day to do it.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a beer in the make your own 6 pack section that I never saw before. I grabbed one and finally got around to drinking it a few days ago. I hope I never see it again. I did something I've only down once before, I poured it down the drain.

Huh.......Two things I like....IPA's & Egg Nog.....but yeah, can see where that combo could go "down the drain" in a hurry!

It looked nice out when I looked out the window but when I got to the park it was overcast and breezy. I went for my daily stroll anyway, now I have to decide what to have for dinner and which beer(s) I should drink while I watch the hockey game tonight.

Except for big, swollen bruises, I survived the blood work. She had to dig around on my hand... ouch.
But finally got enough from my arm.

Ahoy! I had a fine day of boating intertwined with a tough time fishing.
The verse from Life is just a tire swing was stuck in my head all day. Lots of blackberry pickin' and eatin' fried chicken.

Had a busy day at the flower shop today. Getting prepared for a loooong Mother's Day week ahead. Plus 3 freaking proms on Saturday too! Tomorrow is my only day off, so I will be preparing individual Margarita Pies for the Blossom Concert! I can freeze them ahead since next Wednesday I will be heading to Florida for a week. Then when I get back I only have 2 days till we leave for the land of Cleve.
