Good Morning Bill (and thanks)
Gloomy day here at Ringville but that's OK - we both woke up breathing

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day.
I got an email from the Hooters eclub, they're running a deal for Mother's Day. Moms eat free with the purchase of a drink. Who brings their mother to Hooters for Mother's Day?

Happy Mothers Day ❤
Looks like a pretty day in New Braunfels. Not sure what we will do today...I'm sure trying to go out to eat will be a nightmare.
A new In N Out opened here, so that's where we might end up.
The Jerry Jeff show was strange. JJ could barely talk or sing. He did get stronger as he sang more. He mixed up alot of verses, but he does that all the time.
He has been through alot this year....

Good morning and happy Mother's Day to all.

Made a bunch of food yesterday that we're taking to my sisters house. Picking up Mom first, then head over.

Happy Mother’s Day! Busy last few days. Our DIL graduated from college, we went to PHX for the ceremony, met up with family and brought our grandson home for a few days so mom and dad could get a weekend away. OUr grandson and I made his mom a herb garden box for her MOther’s Day gift and planted it with parsley, sage rosemary and thyme. I couldn’t remember all the herbs at the garden center and had to ask a few people if they remembered the song. One lady said she did not want to remember that song because she’d never get it out of her head

You all have a wonderful Sunday!

Good afternoon. Big family breakfast at mom and dad's this morning. Everybody brought something to eat.
I brought the sangria. Yes, sangria for breakfast. It's cinco-o-clock somewhere.

Hubby made me waffles from scratch, eggs and bacon for breakfast! Talked to all 3 of my daughters, airing out my suitcase and going through the Buffett stuff...found out my parrot tail and wings didn't take the storage well and are molting beyond repair.

Trying to figure out my concert outfit with little money and time...if all else fails my old Hawaiian shirt and parrot visor will have to do...
Happy day to all you mothers out there!

While I'm waiting for the laundry to finish, I'm watching the Atlanta Braves game on TV and since it's Mother's Day they have pink hats, batting gloves, baseball bats, etc. It reminds me of one of the best lines I've ever heard from a baseball announcer. When I still lived in NY I was watching a Mets game on Mother's Day one year. They used to have an outfielder named Cliff Floyd. He came up to the plate with his pink bat and a couple of pitches into his at bat he hit a foul ball and broke his bat. As he walked back to the dugout to get a new bat, the announcer said "so much for pink floyd."

I remember when Cliff Floyd played for the Harrisburg Senators. That was back in 1993.

Another good, but 'iffy' Jerry Jeff show. He tried but his voice just wasn't there this weekend.
