Good morning. It was raining when I went to bed last night, it was raining when I got up this morning and it's supposed to rain all day today. Yesterday they were saying we could get 2-4 inches of rain, now the forecast is down to 1 1/2-2 inches but that's still buckets of rain. That's going to s*** for any bikers who were in town for Bike Fest and were planning on leaving to go home today. Who wants to be on a motorcycle in this weather? :o

Cool, cloudy and humid here.

E and I aren't feeling great, but we're still heading out. We took our walk this morning in the neighborhood, instead of the Rec Center.

Afternoon BN.
Salute to all who have the ultimate sacrifice!

Pretty quiet here. Cloudy, cool & drizzly so far today. The most I've accomplished is taking a water pump from an old piece of equipment that Mike had (to throw away) & cutting it down to fit in my bambo waterfall for the tiki. Works like a charm although I will say it took us about 2 hrs to make it happen :o

So on a whim with nothing else to do, we decided to take the side by side & dog & do a little 'trail maintenance' on the property. The pup is a huge sissy & does not like it when the branches scraoe the side or top of the bike. Well after about 1 1/2 hours, the trails are clear...for now  & I need a beer!

E and I went to Fort Logan, to visit my Dad. It was very touching to see so many people there paying their respects.

According to the weather report on the 6:00 news, Myrtle Beach had 2.75 inches of rain today. Surfside Beach, which is about a mile south of where I live, had 3.3 inches. We're supposed to have more rain tonight and tomorrow and the flash flood warning that was supposed to expire at 6:00pm has been to extended to 7:00am tomorrow. I'm glad I don't have to drive anywhere.

On a non-weather related note, Coastal Carolina University, the 2016 College World Series champions, has made it back to the tournament this year and is ranked #15 in the country. Apparently there are 16 regional tournaments, 4 teams in each one, and Coastal is hosting one of them. There are games Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I might go to Sunday's regional championship game but I won't be able to make it to any games Friday and Saturday, the Pelicans are having their 2nd Annual Cubs-A-Palooza Weekend and I already have my tickets. Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins is going to be at Friday night's game and former relief pitcher Lee Smith, who should be in the Hall of Fame, will be there Saturday.
