Still in CT and heading to another Feat show. Met up with Sang and a few friends last night.

Good morning. I used one of my free ticket vouchers from donating blood for tonight's Pelicans game. I checked the weather, 50% chance of thunderstorms tonight. I could be optimistic and say that means there's a 50% chance of no thunderstorms. :lol: If they don't get rained out I won't be staying around for the post game festivities. There's a concert by someone named DJ Hurricane. According to the article on the Pelicans website, he used to work with the Beastie Boys. I wasn't a Beastie Boys fan.

Cali roots reggae bands .. We get to see a bunch of concerts like this all summer long. Beautiful 2500 seat venue 10 minutes from the house. Next up is Mishka August 6th at great restaurant in the old town.. 8)

I've been eye-ballin' this show coming to Michigan. I'm a fan of classic reggae + some more recent reggae also. I have become hooked on Michael Franti, so I'm tempted to take a stab at this show.

I've her of "Stoopid"....and I remember Michael Williams from this site (sonofabeach) being a fan of Pepper. I've not ever listened to any of their music until this morning. I did some previewing of Stoopid's new album on I tunes. I'm guessing their live sound will incorporate some hip-hop into it, which is a genre that I'm not too comfortable with yet.....but seems like Franti uses it a bit live so I'm warming up to it.
Anyway, come back & give some feedback on this show if you can Parrotdise! Would appreciate it.
