I really love my jet ski. Not as much maintenance as a boat & I can launch/load it by myself. We did have a pontoon boat back when hubby had his ski. It was more of a floating dock as it had no motor (therefore didn't need to be registered). I would pull it out to wherever in the river so we would have a place to chill when we wanted to. We also had the cooler & grill on it. Even took an ice luge out a few timeslime rickie wrote: ↑August 10, 2018 5:13 pmAs a newish boat owner I am in full agreement.sistergoldenhair wrote: ↑August 10, 2018 9:00 am Aloha Penny and Linda! Well, after a few weeks full of adventures, we are planning a quiet weekend. Maybe a few hours at the beach today, sunset cruise on the river on a friend's boat (ALWAYS better than owning your own, BTW), Saturday night tiki bar celebration for another friend's birthday (Moroccan Sheepherders, Lin), hanging in the back yard.
Have a good Friday!![]()
There is a saying about your best days owning a boat will be the day you buy it and the day you sell it.![]()

Cheeseburger in Caseville starts this weekend.....2 hours up the road.
Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band plays Saturday night. Maybe a trip up there could be in the cards, although next weekend's schedule includes Jim Asbell & the Tropoholics & Jimmy & The Parrots, so decisions...decisions!![]()
I have always wanted to go but just don't want to tolerate the crowds. I even have a place to stay like 6 miles up the road at my cousin's. Have tried a few times for the campground lottery without luck but that sure would be fun to have a campsite there.
Hi everyone! It is my last weekend before having to go back to work. I am actually looking forward to getting back into the routine although the stress I could live without. Have a weekend of walking in the calendar--have a 5K tomorrow and then the 10 mile test walk for the Crim which is the following weekend. Hoping my feet issues are fixed enough to go more than 5 miles.....haven't been able to get over that hurdle the past few weeks which is really frustrating
Enjoy the weekend all.

I really like the place and the people. Will like it more when I have learned more. I had to cover for the receptionist three times today, and I don't know who to send calls to. BUT - there's a feature on this old phone that the girl didn't know what it was. I figured it out, and it's a one button touch to transfer a call, instead of manually dialing the extension. Several folks were impressed. HA!! My co-worker/trainer is Carol. We have the same titles, but she's at the Denver office. She is still a CNA, and has the medical background. I have the office background. So I showed her several things with Outlook, Excel, and Word that she's never seen before. She's going to stop at my office several times a month for some training from ME. And I told the receptionist I'd do the same for her. I told my boss, Marc, all of this and I'm pretty sure I impressed him. It was a good week.
