And we were told that our truck (admittedly a jalopy) needs $900. worth of radiator repair. Not happening. Time for another vehicle. That's three.
Good luck with finding a new vehicle!!!

And here comes soon to be hurricane Michael.
Yep, I hope it doesn't do as much damage as Florence.

The weather guy here said Hurricane Michael, or whatever's left of it, will probably get here by Thursday. We're expected to get 2-4 inches of rain, instead of the 2 or more feet Florence gave us last month.
Still don't need any more rain, tho.

Afternoon BNers
It is a gloomy day with a few showers. A perfect day to stay inside to watch the Astros.
Actually, a perfect day for the 'Stros to clinch.

'Stros?? You make me smile that you're enjoying baseball, Molly.
Gloomy day here, too. Showers, and some lite snow in the mountain areas. Temps in the low 40's.
I know.
I'm not sure what happened to me. I started watching the games right before the playoffs last year and watched all the playoff games. And every game we have been home for this season.
I admit that I jumped on the winning bandwagon. But I used to watch the Astros when Nolan Ryan pitched and when Jose Cruz played.

Hey, whatever works.

I've been a baseball lover since I was 7-8. Never stopped.

I think moving around, not having te games on TV and then having Ryan got in the way.
But I'm back now

2 days and lots of phone calls turns into needing a new transmission on this 2005 vehicle with 96,000 miles.
Anyone got $4900 they wouldnβt mind gifting to us
Up side is Kevinβs first time use of his Uber app worked great.

$4900 would make a good down payment on a new car, if you can do monthly payments again. Just gotta figure out what's best for you.
it would but we have a small payment on this car since we didn't buy it until 2014 and at that time the value was $14,000. A new payment (we would probably go to a lease for the first time ever) would make that little payment a much bigger payment since Kevin would want another SUV.

I've leased nearly all of the cars I've had in the last 15+ years. Works for me.

Next time around we will probably lease.
