A week or so ago we were sitting in the shade to avoid the heat. Now the temp is 30 degrees cooler and
neighbors Halloween decorations and recycling drum contents are blowing down the street.
Good morning BN. It's a good day to get stuff done. I'm boat fishing tomorrow and heading off for a salmon trip Saturday, so I have a lot of ducks to get in a row.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Good morning. It's a little cool again in Salt Lake City but I'll be going to Las Vegas this afternoon where I expect it to be back to t-shirts and shorts weather. Cirque du Soleil Beatles Love show tonight, Caroline Jones at Margaritaville tomorrow, Buffett Saturday. Then I'll see if I can find anything to do Sunday and Monday.

How did you score the sweet seats last night, HOG?
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

Santa Wayne's niece got them. I don't know exactly how she got them - her boss, a friend's boss, some other contact - but we were in a luxury suite that was right in line with the front of the stage. The seat I was supposed to be in was in the upper deck, at the back of the arena, in the last row. It was a bit of an upgrade.

What a super nice 3 days in Salt Lake City. Great concert last night, great seats in the suite thanks to Wayne’s niece, Ky-Leigh, and a very enjoyable breakfast this morning with Larry, Paige, Shrinky/Nancy, and, of course, the one and only Santa Wayne. I do treasure those few precious moments with old friends I rarely see.
Dropped Larry off at the airport, now I’m killing time walking through some of these beautiful art galleries before my flight back to Des Moines at 9 PM tonight.
They just made an announcement that someone left an insulin pump at the security checkpoint. I'm not diabetic but I think if I was I would remember I had an insulin pump with me.
