Only one meeting today at work, and it's only 30 minutes long. Otherwise catching up the usual stuff that happens daily/weekly.

Good late morning. Another cold, for here, day. It was below freezing when I dragged my lazy butt out of bed. The warm weather's coming back though, the forecast is for 65 tomorrow then low 70s until Monday. Too bad it's supposed to rain over the weekend.

Not much going on at Ringville -- I started the "bringing out of the boxes" last night. Soon time to put away the fall decorations and replace them with the Christmas ones

She-keet #1's birthday is December 5th, so Christmas doesn't start in our house until December 6th. She'll be 31 next week and now lives in San Francisco, but the tradition continues....

Evening!!

Pretty busy day today at work. One meeting ( I get the agenda and documents ready for it ). I'm now an 'administrator' for our online Learning Management System. I enter everyone who attends any kind of class or mandatory attendance. It's an easy system, user friendly, but way too many steps to get one person entered.

Unfortunately we had a 19 year old patient who suddenly 'coded' today. Our staff did what they were supposed to/could (we don't have certain medical staff members, nor an emergency room/facilities), so they called 911 and transported him to an ER. Total time he wasn't responsive was 27 minutes. Not looking good for him. Such a new thing for me. And I admire all those in the medical field, that much more.

Back is awful. Insurance denied my doctor's MRI request. He's protesting, and resubmitting. This has been more than 6 months. And steroids didn't do squat. But for the first time (when I wasn't having some kind of minor surgery) that I asked him for a pain pill of some kind.

Off to grab my heat and ice. It barely helps, but I'll take the little bit that it does.
