Jimmy has been in the studio recording a new album. Anyone hear anything about this? Super excited to get some new music. In addition, I hope Buried Treasure Vol 2 comes out soon as well

That would be awesome if that's true! Of course if it's anything like Buried Treasure, we may be waiting a couple years before it finally gets released.

Buried Treasure required a lot of mastering/remastering as the songs came from old reels of music stored in boxes from way back, not to mention the time it took to make sure the copyrights and rights were all set for Jimmy to release the music. Also, we were likely first hearing about it in its infancy, when the original producers made it public.

From what I can remember, Songs From St. Somewhere didn't take all that long...not super fast, but fairly standard amount of time. If this is a studio album in the same vein, I don't imagine it taking years.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure there will be a handful of good songs...St. Somewhere had more than a handful of those, so that was more like a bonus.

Jimmy mentioned the new album on Radio Margaritaville from Nashville on Friday. I can't wait!!!

I would think it would come out at the official start of the new tour ( Dallas). I would also expect the name of the tour , would be the name of the album. Unless it doesn't get released until the fall after the tour , and in time for the Holidays.

Right now all of the released tour dates are under the tour name: Son of a Son of a Sailor 2019 so we may not have a tour change this year

New album is all ballads. Tentatively titled "COBO." (Sorry just could not resist.)

Last we heard anything about it was at the Nashville Margaritaville show. Would love a Spring or Summer 19 release.

Jimmy announced the title of the album being "Low Tide"

At tonight's show he said it would be out next year.
