no work parties for Chambers #5 -- we exchange gifts and I decorate but other than that.....
we are having a few of Kevin's co-workers over after work today for a "happy hour". We did this in April and the "hour" went from 5:30 - 11

Good morning. We had about 3 inches of rain last weekend and this weekend is supposed to be even wetter. It's been raining pretty hard all morning and we have a flash flood warning. I think I'll stay inside.

Morning BNers
No sun and in the 40s with strong winds. I need to go to the phone store. I can't get my email to open on my phone. No sure what I have done, but I know it was my fault.

I read "work parties" and Cool Hand Luke comes to mind. Wrong kind of work party, I guess.....

Considering my "work" consists of 2 people full time (including myself) & 1 seasonal person, it's hard to drum up much of a holiday party
On the flip side we are celebrating my granddaughter's Birthday with a party TONIGHT!!

Since we are both retired, no company Christmas parties for us.
I kinda miss going to them.

Judge turns 60 on Sunday so while he was out today Chambers 5 has turned into a birthday party establishment.
Including a walker (donated by my husband - but needing to go back to Ringville for potential 2nd knee replacement at some future date); a photo collage of pictures from years ago (donated by his wife), some of which are enclosed in his birthday card because I didn't want to "cross the line" with potentially inappropriate photos available for public viewing, a few HUGE Happy Birthday banners and some black decorations. The over the hill cake will come in on Monday morning.

You are a great employee and friend.
I'm sure the Judge appreciates all you do.

We had a walking cane with a rear view mirror and bulbous bicycle horn on it that would given to and reside at that particular b'day recipient's desk until the next oldie b'day came along and then it would be passed on.

Ahoy! It was gorgeous day to ride 70 miles and fish. The fish didn't agree. We have a holiday party tonight.
My diet will be challenged.

Im at the nail salon, our internet has been out at home since Wednesday, getting fixed tomorrow hopefully. Waiting on a response from an offer we put on a house, but she's elderly, has no cell phone and doesn't communicate with her realtor very quickly. Plus her family is in town for a funeral, so there's that. We met our buyers at the inspection yesterday and I'll spill those beans at a later time.
