Finished our Christmas shopping yesterday when I left work a little early. Needed to get back into town to get Kevin when he was done at 5 so I delayed a trip to the craft store for another day since it wasn't a Christmas necessity.

I've got every radio station that's playing 24/7 Christmas music set on my radio (our 2005 vehicles don't have Sirius ).
A station I normally don't listen to outside of Christmas finished a song and went into "a Christmas Gift for caller #7". Since I was sitting at a red light, I dialed in, got the horrific sound that you hear when a million people are dialing the same number. On try #2 I got through and I won a $50 gift card to the food store where I shop every week !!

Good morning. Today is pest control day and the guy just left, now it's time to go yell at someone at my bank. My cable bill was due Nov. 30. I always schedule my payments online for a day or two before the due date. According to the bill pay function on my bank's website, my payment was made Nov. 29. I got my new cable bill in yesterday's mail and Spectrum hasn't received my payment yet. I checked the bank's website again and even though the bill pay function says the payment was processed, the money was never debited from my checking account. Spectrum charged me a late fee of $8.95, I want the bank to reimburse me for that.

I got a Happy Holidays email from my ticket representative at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans this morning. That's Splash, one of the mascots. The guy wearing the ugly Christmas sweater jersey at the end of the video is the general manager.

Happy Birthday Steve!!! Morning/Afternoon BNer's!! We had the strong winds yesterday. Friday they are talking 2 to 4 inches of rains , with high wind warnings. The plus side it will be about 60 degrees. I'm just glad it's rain . and not snow.

The bank took care of my problem and agreed to cover the late fee from Spectrum. Now I'm sitting at Sports Clips waiting to get a haircut, there are 3 people ahead of me. As little hair as I have left, the wait will probably be longer than the haircut.

Do you get the MVP? I stopped by the one i go to yesterday . The wait was to long ( i went without making an appointment).

No MVP, just a haircut. The only thing extra they do is trim my beard.

There was just a story on the news about a new restaurant opening in a few weeks. It's owned by the same guy who owns The Grumpy Monk and is going to have a deck outside that will be pet friendly. It's going to be called The Sneaky Beagle.
