Hi All,

I don't actually know what a government shutdown means but I hope everyone can still drop by!!!!

Good morning Rabz. The shut down is a farce according to a retired politician. At least, I get that when he scoffed while asked about it.
The house is full of treats as Anne preps for family on Christmas. Time for me to lay low. :D

Good morning! :)

I have a smile on my face this morning. Back has a little bit of improvement already. Isn't supposed to feel anything for a few days. I'll take it!!! I got out of bed, and didn't have to practically crawl to the bathroom, like I have been for a few months.

I'm supposed to take it easy for 24 hours. No driving or heavy exercises. So I'll just enjoy it. :)

Hope everyone has a good Saturday.

Morning, pholks. Busy day of wrapping, cleaning, and food prep in Limeville.

We had a crazy windstorm last night that pulled down some of our lights so we need to get them back up, too.

Have a wonderful day , y'all! :wench:

Bryan is dropping the dogs off at the kennel. We had Christmas last night with the grandbabies and our kids! Today, we are getting ready to head out for the hotel and the big Christmas party with Bryan's side of the family. Every one gets all gussied up for dinner and we take annual Family photos.
Hope EVERY one has a marvelous Saturday!

Good morning. Going to the family Christmas party today.
Am I the only one that caught the coincidence that the sunset in Seattle was at 4:20? :pirate:

Good morning. I got to the airport more than 2 hours before my flight because I thought it would be crowded and I didn't have TSA precheck. There were 5 people ahead of me at the security checkpoint. I breezed through and now I have lots of time to kill. More first world problems.

And so then it makes perfect sense that every day thereafter the sunset will be a minute or two later than the day before....

Good morning BN, sunny and 60 today and tomorrow should be almost 70. Unfortunately I have to drive north where it will only be around 50. Heading to north Georgia tomorrow and not looking forward to holiday traffic through Atlanta.

Hi CNF
Isn't this weather just the strangest??? Wild winds for a few days and now great days with warm temps???
Not complaining about the temps. Not very Christmasy but I'm also not freezing. ;)

I'm loving the temps, mid 60's Christmas day, not a white Christmas here!

Las Vegas. I'm going to a Golden Knights game tomorrow, then a few days of eating some good food and drinking some beers I can't get locally.

I have so much time between flights in Charlotte that my connecting flight isn't on the departure board yet. I had to go to the airline's customer service counter and ask which gate it would be at so I knew which direction to start wandering.

I thought so. They are having a big LV sports event. Maybe the game is part of it?
Whatever, have a great trip.

First new beer of the trip at Tequileria in the Charlotte airport, Catawba CLT IPA. I can get some of Catawba's beers at home but I've never seen this one. Pretty good. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

After 15 straight days of thunderstorms (our local area still has ES teams out catching up on storm jobs) we now have a storm free forecast...

Only now we have at least a week long heatwave starting on Boxing Day.

Oh well!

Wacky weather here in Lancaster County PA. Yesterday mid 60s. Today mid 30s. And lots of wind.

Had my neck MRI Thursday night. (Have degenerative disc disease at C5, 6,7). Followup with surgeon on dec 24 to see if injection is a possibility ( he’s not optimistic based in the xrays). In the meantime 2 close friends with pain issues of varying degrees suggested CBD treatment. Went to the mall, spoke with a store rep and $20 later walked out with a small container of cream. First application on at 12:30. Within 20 mins I got pretty good pain relief. 4 hrs later still feeling good. If this keeps me from the pending neck fusion in the near future I’ll be back to the store for more.
