Barometer Soup SUNDAY@ the MSC

Post by bodypainter »

Good morning BN. Steel City Fins Cabin Fever has a theme, Barometer Soup. Pholks decorate their doors and balconies with stuff. I'm cutting foam board letters to display. Last year, I made palm trees that will return again.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi Bill!

Good morning to my other BN friends.

Another quiet day here at Ringville. Heading out soon for church then I'll make a few meals that we can eat during the week. Also need to hit the Christmas decoration explosion that has occurred in the basement :). Putting everything away is probably what I dislike most about Christmas but I won't forgo it ever !

Good Sunday morning Pholks! Sipping some coffee, already have laundry going. There will be much laundry (bed linens from the spare rooms will be washed and packed) and more purging and packing today. We are sore from yesterday, but its hard to pace ourselves when we see the progress being made.

Good morning. Today's forecast is for a high temperature near 70 degrees but it's a little chilly this morning, the heat just turned on.

HBO is rerunning The Sopranos. I missed half of season 1 Friday because I didn't know it was on, I binge watched season 2 yesterday and season 3 starts at noon today. I might have to record it and watch it later, there's a hockey game on this afternoon plus 2 more NFL playoff games.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Ahoy! After lunch out with some sun thrown in, I got artistic and worked in wood for more raffle prizes. I have an idea for a parrot and a flamingo hat rack.

Howdy all. Last night at my sister's house. We've enjoyed the time here, and were able to relax and try to get well. A little dinner to make tonight, then clean up. Have to pack up everything so we can get to work on time in the morning. We're a bit further away than our home. :)

I'm looking at the first of four snowmen I carved. I carved all of it from a solid block. The hat was tough! I carved the others with separate parts added on.

Thanks, Molly. I'm not as prolific as I used to be. I don't have to pay my accountant extra for tax work anymore either. Most of my stuff has a parrothead theme.

Artistic talent is artistic talent.
And I am envious....that gene skipped me. I tried and tried to draw, paint. Took classes. Nope. Not in me.
But I am glad others can be artistic.

Kevin & I are fortunate to have one of your snowmen (with his personalized toboggan) :)
