The snowpocalyse has arrived.

Hey folks. We had a lot of snow hype. We got a dusting and now rain. But our temps are heading down from 39 now to 7 by tomorrow morning. Kevin and I have a holiday tomorrow but I have a 9:00 consult appt with the neck surgeon that I’d rather not miss.

Be careful out there Bill and Nancy. And all others facing the white stuff.

Better you than us.  We caught maybe an inch or so of light fluffy stuff between Friday evening and Saturday AM, and even that little bit was more than enough to show me how badly I need new tires with some sort of tread on them.

Good morning. It rained overnight but no snow here. It's 56 degrees and the forecast is for a low of 25 tonight then near 70 by Thursday.

Good morning BN. It was mid 60's yesterday, 37 this morning with wind chill low 20's. Another stay inside day.

We got a few inches of snow. They wet heavy stuff that clogs up the snow blower.

We only ended up with about 4 inches of snow total, but the is a thick layer of ice in the middle of the snow. Now its just blowing around and drifting and the thermometer read 8 degrees this morning. Bryan has cleared the cars of snow and ice, and I'm headed into the kitchen to start making Cottage Dill Rolls and French Onion Soup for dinner.

Hoping those in the way of the storms are safe. We are suppose to be 32° tonight.....brrr
But at least, no snow.

No new snow here, but it's coming during the week. But today we'll be close to 60, so a lot of messy melting.

Felt good to sleep in a bit today, had breakfast, and now to tackle the Christmas stuff.

7 inches of snow in Eastern Iowa Friday night into Saturday, and more coming now.
Temperature at midnight was 1 degree with a wind chill of -17.
Right now it’s 8 degrees, wind chill is -5.
Here I am- living the freaking dream.

The temperature has dropped 5 degrees since this morning and it's gotten very windy. No snow though so I can't complain.

32 for us would feel warm and balmy. It was about 34 when I was shoveling the snow and I was sweating.
Supposed to hit single digits tonight.

Rain. No
Severely high winds. Yes.
High wind advisory. Yes
Temps dropping every hour. Yes
Tired of all of it. Yes

Snow, snow shovels, snow blowers... what are these things of which you speak?
January has so far been the warmest on record here in the Upper LH Corner.
Granted, that means an average daily temperature of about 52° (and less than 2" of rain), but still and all....

We are getting hammered with horrendous winds. Our “feels like” temp right now is -2 and it’s only to get colder over night
