Today is a work holiday for me but I'll probably put in a few hours this morning anyway just to catch up on paperwork. It's blustery and still snowing a bit so the pup's walk will have to wait until later. And dark - why am I awake already?

Good morning Debbie and Nancy. We had the full moon out all night. Glorious! I hve a new lettering project. The Cincinnati club wants to celebrate Fins turning 40 this year. I'm making letters as I did for Nautical Wheelers to hold up in concert.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill & ladies!
Like the rest of the east coast we have horribly low temps and horribly high winds - making outside our door feel like -7.
I'm off to see Dr "Neck" soon -- otherwise I wouldn't be venturing out since it's a work holiday for me & Kevin.
A few small organizational jobs at home await my return.

Morning BNers
Since everyone is giving weather reports, it is 41 degrees here but got down to freezing during the night. There was frost on the rooves earlier.
We are on the road....again.
Seems like someone has a milestone birthday in a few days and we are going to celebrate it with a mouse, giraffes and music.

It's a little chilly out there but after a nice walk in the park I went grocery shopping and stopped for a pint at the Beer Den. ![gt-happyup [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]](./images/smilies/gt-happyup.gif)

Re: MLK Monday @ the MSC
I got an injection in the base of my head on the right side since all the disc issues are causing muscle spasms resulting in headaches as well as the pain in my neck (not kevin this time)
and shoulder.
4 X-ray guided injections are scheduled for feb 12.
Got my small house hold jobs done and now we’ve got things for Purple Heart to pickup.
Pacific Cuban black beans and rice are busy simmering on the stove. Smells good in here.

Just finished doing my taxes and I have zero tax liability again. I continue to be a non-productive member of society.

Re: MLK Monday @ the MSC
Bryan was off today and took me on an early morning trip to the big city for yet another blood test. (I had one about a week ago) My potassium is considered to be higher than they like it and since they have determined that I have a cyst on my kidney, it is concerning that my kidneys aren't filtering the potassium out of my body. Not sure what the treatment plan will be, but I'm sure I'll find out soon. After the blood draw, I went to work and he was able to hang out with the dogs till he had to pick me up. It's bone chilling outside and if I didn't have a granddaughter's birthday to shop for, I wouldn't leave the house tomorrow, but alas, I will need to venture out. Hope everyone stays warm, safe and snug!

(((Tammy))) Sorry to hear this. Only a few years into my vision issue, a blood test showed high readings. It took several trips to an Erie liver specialist to be told... I have a FAT liver.melon59 wrote: ↑January 21, 2019 7:23 pm Bryan was off today and took me on an early morning trip to the big city for yet another blood test. I didn’t realize the new forms and instructions for the tax changes were online yet. I’m off to the IRS website.

Fingers crossed that you get some relief. I'm hoping my second round of shots in my back will do the same. Third round of shots is on February 4th. The X-ray guided injections were my first round. (((Linda))
thanks and back at ya! Our surgeons will only do shots 6 months apart.

Thanks Bill! I am waiting on the latest results and in the meantime, I am searching for low potassium recipes. What is most frustrating is the low potassium diet guidelines seem to be the opposite of the diabetic diet guidelines...bodypainter wrote: ↑January 21, 2019 8:02 pm(((Tammy))) Sorry to hear this. It hasn't been very good golf weather. We've had some nice sunny days but it's been cold and windy.
