Yawn.... Good morning BN. We join some club members at a free swim we sponsor at the high school pool this afternoon. It will be nice to be in a hot, humid pool room today.

Good morning Bill. The cold weather's back, it was 31 degrees when I woke up this morning. I know, 31 is nothing compared to what some of you are going through but this is the south.

Ouch! Do you get the clammy cold from the ocean there, Larry?

Morning BNers
It is very wet and cold in this part of FL
We are not having the days we were hoping for.

Burn we are in FL so we are going to try to make te best of it.
Last night, I was wearing a long sleeve T, a short sleeve T, and 2 hoodies. On the bottom, I was wearing leggings, Jean's and 2 pair of socks.
Guess who was still cold.

Surprisingly, no. I live less than 3 miles inland and even on what passes for really cold weather here it isn't that damp, bone chilling cold. When I still lived on Long Island, I went to New Orleans once. It was in January and it was so cold and damp down there, it was worse than the weather I had left behind in NY.

Mickey Mouse?

Sorry it's so cold for you, Molly.
Lots of cold everywhere - we'll be in the 50's and sunny. Then a little snow overnight. Mountains will get more, and possible wind gusts up to 75mph.
Housework and a quick Mom visit today.

Not today. Up already and back from church, now taking care of some other things since this promises, with a scheduled high around 12 above, to be the warmest day this week. By Wednesday we're going to be in the deep freeze; overnight lows down around minus 20 and the daily high
*MIGHT* get into positive numbers.
THAT'S the day I'd wanna stay in bed buried beneath the electric blanket like a pig at a luau.

We are at EPCOT and it is raining. My pants are wet. My shoes are wet. My socks are wet. I am just wet and wearing a raincoat. The happiest place on earth, is not today. We are not 5he only ones. Oh well. On to the next semi dry place.

Hey all. Quiet day here at Ringville. Hit church then a few stops on the way home. Planning to stay inside today. We spent 3 hours outside yesterday at the German club Eisfest. Thankful it wasnt bitter cold but it was enough that we’re good being inside today.

Australia Day holiday today.
Well, Australia Day was Saturday, but the kind and benevolent Overseers have, in their infinite wisdom, allowed us mere workers to have Monday as a replacement day of rest.
All hail the Overseers!!
And guess what?
It's hot. High 80's to mid-90's hot. It rained overnight, about 3/4 of an inch, so now it's over 95% humidity too.
I got up at 5.00 this morning to make a start on getting some paint on the new 'dry-wall and cornices in the bathroom -thought it would be easier before it heats up too much and before the tilers get really stuck in. The paint does not like this humidity.
I agree with the paint!

FYI
Do not go to EPCOT in the rain. The latter the day got, the harder it was rainng. My shoes are wet and you can wring out my socks. My pants are wet up to my knees.
But we met Tyler and Katrina. There is a podcast weekly from The Dis and they were going on Soarin' about the time we were. Got a chance to chat wirh them...both are so nice.
We are now in the room trying to warm up and dry off. More music this evening in the lobby.

❤

Knee is bruised but ok. My foot/ankle is what is giving me trouble. I must have twisted it when I fell. It isn't awful but sore and being wet and cold isn't helping. It is suppose to be dry and warmer tomorrow.
Thanks for asking
