Good morning. It's going to be a beautiful day, it's 65 degrees already, but I should probably do laundry. I don't like it to pile up so much that I have to do 2 loads the same day.

Hello Molly & Larry and whomever else stops by.
Right after our beautiful 60 degree day we now have dark, dreary and forecast of rain
On the bright side it's Wild Women of Wine Wednesday at a local winery's store

.....always fun

Those days I was complaining about being cold... for FL and humid, windy and wet.
Well, yesterday was 78 with abundant sun.

We were taking off layers before noon.
But is was a great trip.

Good whatever, everyone.
Apparently Iowa is the only place in the country where the temperature refuses to go above 30 degrees.
22 today, freezing drizzle tonight, snow tomorrow, and after that, I really donโt give a &$#%.

Garry, it may be cold now but pitchers and catchers report next week. Baseball is on the way.

Ahoy! I had a long trip with some slow, scary moments in heavy fog crossing our state. I walked into the kitchen and saw a pie out of the oven and pork chops in the crock pot. Life is good.

Yes, thankfully it is, Larry. That does give me something to look forward to.
Not only that, but the General Manager of the Minot League baseball team here called me yesterday wanting to know if I want to come back to work at the stadium again when the season starts in a couple months.

What a beautiful day, it made it into the 70s again. I went to the park and took a leisurely stroll around the lake.

This is strange. I got an email from my car insurance company that my payment was due Feb. 3 and they haven't received it yet. I mailed my payment on Jan. 24. I logged on to my bank's website and checked my account, the check hasn't cleared yet. I called the insurance company and was about to tell them I would contact the bank, put a stop payment on the check and send a new one when the customer service rep told me they received my payment yesterday. The insurance company has my payment but the bank hasn't paid the check? Cue the theme music from The Twilight Zone.

Another busy day prepping for Valentine's day. Starting to get in lots of supplies and some long lasting flowers.

it was warm, rainy and foggy here today and tomorrow's forecast is more of the same. Have a great evening!

Good evening!!
Soooo, after a week of the state auditors, and everyone being stressed and on edge for the whole time, finally got the results last night. They found a few 'issues', but nothing to shut us down. There were about 5 procedures and processes that need to be changed, and we're good. Whew. What a bunch of craziness.
Snow started around 10:00, and got worse. Not a LOT of snow, but drivers are stupid, and lots of accidents. I was TOLD to leave around 2:00, and got home an hour later. It usually takes me 25 minutes. But the roads were NOT that bad, just speeds were around 40 mph. It's gonna be around zero tonight, so hopefully the roads will be a bit better in the morning.

Iowa and Michigan....had another snow/ice day today from school. May have one tomorrow as well since back roads are still all ice. Although I love the laziness of unplanned off work days, I do not want to work one second longer than I have to past June 21st. I need to get back into a routine and so do all of the students. We have a scheduled break starting next Friday for a week so we will all be cranky messes by the time we return from that break.

I love dogs but I don't want one. There's already enough loose hair in my condo from when I shed my winter coat.
BTW, I'm watching the 11:00 news and the weather guy just said it was 77 degrees this afternoon. It's supposed to be about 75 again tomorrow and Friday, but Saturday it'll only be in the 40s.

With the streak you're on since New Years you guys may truly have a "year round" school year
