Sail Around SAT @ the MSC
Good morning BN
No sailing here in Pennsylvania unless it’s wind sailing! Still very strong winds here. Off to normal Saturday stuff. Will try to hit the license center to start the Real ID process
Then meeting some friends at a local pub for Dennis McCaughys (Tropical Soul) debut.

Good morning! No sailing here in CO, either.
E and I are shopping for a new bed, stop at Mom's, then taking our friend Roberta out to dinner. Our friend Jessie (who owns the New Orleans food truck) now has his own restaurant. It's not a huge place, but really happy for him!

Good morning all. Four older men at the diner this morning were talking about a man who passed away at age ninety. The man had a gas station at an cloverleaf on a rural stretch of I 80 in Pennsylvania. Many years ago, a pilot made an emergency landing on the interstate and asked the old man, Where am I?" The old man replied, Why, you're right here."
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning.
The last 3 days the temperature was in the 70s with a high of 79 yesterday. When I woke up this morning I had to turn the heat on.

Morning BNers
I haven't eaten anything since Wed. I'm really hungry but not sure what to attempt. Nothing sounds good and I don't want to start throwing up again.
The temps are still in the 30s....brrrrrrr

I've been fighting a head cold all week and then this morning I had to go out and shovel the sidewalk and front walkway in front of our house, all the while blaming Mrs SPH.... It's all her fault, if we had retired to Hawaii like I wanted, I wouldn't shoveling any damn snow!

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

duplicate of my FB post.....
Attempt to start the “real ID” process. Failed. Didn’t have a copy of my marriage license to prove name change from 36 yrs ago. I’ll just wait until it’s required in PA in Oct 2020. Unless somewhere in the 36 yrs of document collection I find that license.

Every time we're over there I look at property listings and bring up the idea with her, but the harsh reality is that, as we've gotten older, we need to move closer to quality medical care, not 2,500 miles farther away.MsMolly wrote:You still have time to pack up and moveSPH wrote: I've been fighting a head cold all week and then this morning I had to go out and shovel the sidewalk and front walkway in front of our house, all the while blaming Mrs SPH.... Trust me. I fully understand. When you get to that certain age, being close to medical care is important.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑February 9, 2019 2:24 pmEvery time we're over there I look at property listings and bring up the idea with her, but the harsh reality is that, as we've gotten older, we need to move closer to quality medical care, not 2,500 miles farther away.MsMolly wrote:You still have time to pack up and moveSPH wrote: I've been fighting a head cold all week and then this morning I had to go out and shovel the sidewalk and front walkway in front of our house, all the while blaming Mrs SPH.... Start slow and easy...broth and maybe saltine crackers. Or toast. Hope you are on the mend and don't have any set backs.springparrot wrote: ↑February 9, 2019 12:35 pm Morning BNers

Re: Sail Around SAT @ the MSC
The temperature is 25 degrees lower than it was this time yesterday but I had to go out for my daily walk. I had gotten lazy, I have to get back to walking every day again if for no other reason than to work off the calories from the beer.
I hadn't seen my neighbors on either side of me for a couple of weeks. One side is a married couple about my age. I just saw the husband out walking their dog. They were in Florida for 2 weeks and when they got back they both got sick. The wife had pneumonia and was in the hospital for 3 days.
The other neighbor has her unit up for sale and is going to move into assisted living. I hadn't seen her since I got back from Las Vegas after Christmas and her car hasn't been in the parking lot for the last 2 or 3 weeks. I was worried she had died, she's about 5 years older than I am.

Re: Sail Around SAT @ the MSC
Great news, we just got the contract for the sale of our house and we have a closing date of March 15th. Yay! Now to get moving on the contract for the house we want to buy! Lots of work ahead, but I'm getting excited again.
