Your breakfast looks delicious Bill! Yum! We are meeting with our realtor today to draft a new contract for the house we want to purchase. And there are other errands that we need to get done before the busy week that is Valentine's Week hits me full force. Have a good Sunday!

Good morning.

I'll eat strawberries but they're not my favorite fruit. I had a lemon poppyseed muffin and coffee for breakfast. The coffee pot isn't empty yet so I'm still relaxing.

That breakfast looks delicious but I had a banana instead. For the past 5 weeks I've been monitoring my food & exercise (pretty much for the first time in my life) using the MyFitnessPal App. I've lost 8 pounds and am happy with that. Kevin's lost some weight as well since he's eating what I'm buying and we are making but he doesn't bother with the scale (at least not yet)

Kevin is heading out soon to help a friend brew. I'll do some odds & ends here and catch up on "my" tv shows.

Still no sun here but suppose to get almost to 70. Time will tell.

It is that time of year.....drag race season!!!!! The finals in Pomona CA are today. The first of the season.
I can't wait and hope our friends and people we root for, do well this season

And, if course it is raining. They were begging for rain during the fires but it is raining now.
Oh well. That is part of drag racing.

I did laundry earlier and when I was folding the clean clothes and putting them away I turned the radio on. The DJ was talking about some local organization that has a "Daddy Daughter Dance." He said if anyone has a daughter but no daddy to take her to the dance "give me a call, I'd love to take your daughter to the dance." Am I the only one who thinks that's creepy?

Hanging out at home today. Back kept me from going to the Rec Center.

Did manage a little laundry, and will do a little cooking for dinner.

So it started snowing ❄ ❄ ❄ while we were writing our offer for our new house, and by the time we were done things got very dicey. We got on 71 south to go home and about 10 minutes into the drive, things cane to a screeching halt on the highway. Some idiot going too fast spun out on an overpass, hit the guardrail, air bag deployed and he was sitting across the left and middle lanes! But he looked no worse for the wear and was hitting the steering wheel and making exaggerated gestures as we went by. It kept snowing and it took us at least an extra 40 minutes to get home! But we made it safely, which is the main thing. I made us cheeseburgers in paradise for dinner, and Bryan made us fries to round it out. Now, I'm cozy and full. We are supposed to get up to 3 inches overnight, then freezing rain and another inch before it's over tomorrow. Not impressed. Have a warm safe evening.

They finally called the races. About the time they got the track dryish, it would started to rain again. And since there is a curfew in Pomona, they had to close up for the night.
They did get one round of top fuel run so hoping they can finish the racing tomorrow.

It probably sounded odd on air but having a daughter and knowing of daddy/daughter dances I’m guessing he was offereing to do a nice thing. Of course sometimes I am more naive that some people may think
