MCA-5102, MCA Records. Gatefold with photos and Don Blanding poem. Lyrics, credits and liner notes on album sleeve. About this time MCA changed their labels from being black with a prism to being blue with a rainbow. Some albums from this period have plain tan labels (like Volcano). European imports of this album have the old black with prism MCA label. These albums can also be identified by black lettering on the spine instead of pink like the American versions.
Re-issued Vinyl Information:
MCA-5102 (stamped in gold foil as MCA-1657), MCA Records. Has gatefold, but record sleeve is clear plastic. The removal of the inner sleeve takes the lyrics, credits and a few notes with it. Another variation exists with “platinum plus 37156” stamped on the front cover.
Original CD Information:
MCAD-1657, MCA Records. No liner notes or pictures.
Two-on-One CD Information:
MCAD-5879, MCA Records. Includes a pretty complete back cover from A-1-A, with all the liner notes. As for Volcano, includes the photo of Bubba pointing at a steaming volcanic vent. No notes. Out of print.
