Come on He sings about is..

This Hotel Room
Written by: Steve Goodman
Performed by: Jimmy Buffett

Originally from the Album: Havana Daydreamin’ (1976)
Additional Discography:
Live in Las Vegas, NV (2003)
Live in Cincinnati, OH (2004)

Lyrics:
This hotel room got a lot of stuff
A laundry bag and a shoe shine cloth
Thirty-two hangers and a touch-tone phone
Well a light that comes on when I'm not home
I ain't home, I ain't home
You better leave a message cause I ain't home

They got an air conditioner for when I'm hot
A radiator for when I'm not
Two big chairs sittin' side by side
With a Holy bible and a TV guide
TV guide, TV guide, great God o' mighty
It's a TV guide

I got a second story view from curb to curb
I got a sign that reads "Do not disturb"
A monogram towel and a bucket of ice
A chest of drawers and a mirror that lies
Mirror that lies, mirror that lies,
That couldn't be me in the gorilla disguise

They got a room service menu for food and drinks
A porcelain thrown and an aluminum sink
Two big pillows to rest my head
A magic fingers and a king size bed
Put in a quarter, turn out the light
Magic fingers makes you feel alright
Feel alright, feel alright
Magic fingers makes you feel alright

Oh this ole' hotel's alright with me
They pay the postage if you loose the key
This hotel has got a lot of stuff
But I do believe I have had enough
Call my baby said, don't you pout
I'm packin' my bags and I'm checking out
Just as soon as you hang up the telephone
Stick a candle in the window I'm comin' home
Comin' home, comin home
Stick a candle in the window, I'm comin' home

I've got info from what I consider pretty reliable sources who tell me where Jimmy stays when he comes to Charleston, which is only 2 or 3 times a year. Charleston is just a good-sized small town - hard to keep secrets. But I won't say.

It probably wouldn't make much difference since he doesn't do shows here so it's hard to really figure out when he's in town.

It probably wouldn't be a big deal revealing where he stays when he is in big cities. Those hotels have VIPs and celebrities staying there all the time and and are able to handle any security issues that go along with that. On top of that, I wouldn't want to mess with Charleston.

This whole thread feels like a popularity contest, and it kind of makes me sick to my stomach.

I just *wish* I was cool enough to know exactly where JB stays wherever he goes, and that I was even more cool enough essentially say "na-na-na-boo-boo I know where JB stays and I'm not telling!"

Sheesh, he's just a person who lives and breathes.

An answer of "he generally flies in for the day when he plays in (blank)" or "he stays at a nice hotel while in (blank)" would have been enough in my book.

Don't get all bent out of shape because he won't stay in Indiana.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

i've heard stories of a couple of cities...that people will spend the whole day there ..just hoping to run in him....so he does have some stalkers....if everyone knew..imaging how many more would be there. Best left unsaid!!
