I've obtained 500 rounds of 7.62x39, 500 rounds of .40, 260 rounds of .223, 250 rounds of .45 ACP and some .44 Mag. here lately. It's not that hard to get. Try ammoman, Natchez and Sportsman's Guide.Tequila Revenge wrote:But have you noticed it's HARD to get ammo since November![]()

Personally, I can't see Texas coming under Mexican control unless they kill all the Texicans first.

Re: USA to dissolve in 2010.
I dispute the way he draws his lines, and that those sections he mentions will be "influenced" by specific powers.
The western US segment would probably just consist of CA, WA, and OR, and the Chinese can kiss our grits. And I've been up for that for probably twenty years. Though we'd probably give Los Angeles back to the US on general principles...
And Alaska in the hands of the Russians? That would mean we wouldn't have Ted Stevens *or* Sarah Palin to kick around anymore...
For more information on how the US is *really* divided, culturally speaking, I highly recommend "Nine Nations of North America," Garreau. Given that he correctly identifies south FL and the Keys as their own nation, and acknowledges that North and South California really don't belong in the same nation, let alone the same state...it's interesting food for thought, if a bit dry.

I'm not sure I want to be Canuckian... Maybe I'll move to the Gulf Coast. If I'm gonna live in some other country, I'm at least gonna go where it's warm.

Re: USA to dissolve in 2010.
My guess he is smoking better stuff than his students are. He left Farrakan and his whatever the heck of "Islam Nation". Then the Greenies,PETA, the neo-nazis, the moral majority/minority, and whatever other known or unknown groups that may be out there.
Then we have the "family factor" to consider... jumping on one person, is like jumping on all. It won't apply to everyone but there are enough Americans out there that it will apply to. Think of the Charlie Daniels song "In America". What was the line? Something about " we may have done a little fighting amongst ourselves, but go and lay your hands on a Pittsburg Steeler fan, and I think you will finally understand". Something like that. For sure someone will be surprised.
Then we have all of the veterans out there....
Then there are the various organized gangs out there...
500 rounds of ammo may sound like enough, but don't count on it lasting long. Especially when one can expend a 7,8,10,15,30, or more round magazine, in a matter of seconds or less than a minute. Better have a more considerable ammount of ammo and magazines.
Magazines go bad, bent/damaged followers, weakened springs, lost, etc. (of course you can always strip the fallen for weapons and ammo whatever supplies they might have)
Remember it is bullet placement that matters.
Along with weapons and ammo, food/water and other supplies must be accounted and stocked for. How about basic neccessities such as boots/socks,toilet paper, or whatever? There won't be any groceries or any other supplies being delivered. There is always hunting. How many people really know how how to skin and dress out a gane animal and what is involved? There are a lot of things there won't be.
Generally the guy's map sounds like nothing believable or even workable.
