"Great" B-movies.

Post by bestseller92 »

Hey, a movie doesn't have to be expensive or well produced to be great, now, does it?

Does a movie even have to be good to be great??

That might make an interesting discussion.

Which is sorta why I brought it up.

Just off the top of my head, one of my "most favoritest" "B" movies would have to be "Legend of Boggy Creek".

Anyone else like this "Foulke monster" movie from the early 70s? What are some of your own favorite "B" movies?

When I was five or six, my brother took me to the drive in to see a flick called "When Women Had Tails".

It might be one of my favorite B movies, except I don't remember anything about it except the title :).

Another great one.

Tremors, one of my favorites. Whenever I watch I know all the dialogue, but when it's unedited I get confused as to what I'm watching.

I'm shocked that no one has mentioned Amazon Women on the Moon......perhaps the best B movie of all time.

Here's a few clips from the film featuring Arsenio Hall and Michelle Pfeiffer (there's many other stars who make cameos in the movie)

I love Amazon Women on the Moon :D (but in all fairness I cannot call it a B-Movie because it's really a satire of B movies :)

My favorite B Movie? (that's tough... but I'll go with Killer Klowns from Outer Space....)
(BTW anyone ever heard of the cult of UHF?....http://www.cultofUHF.wordpress.com )

you're right, there...Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans were still pretty much unknowns.
Jeff Goldblum had done The Big Chill, but here.... he was pretty much just collecting a paycheck...or he had lost a bet!

...and Geena Davis was just plain HOT!! 8)
she was about to break out with an Oscar-winning turn for The Accidental Tourist
