Peter Mayer is an anomaly in the world of music. He is an accomplished singer, songwriter, guitarist, and front man for the Peter Mayer Group. He has written many wonderful songs for not only his own band, but has been covered by artists ranging from Vanessa Williams to Jimmy Buffett. He has been featured on many albums and has been the longest running guitarist in the history of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band (nearly 20 years).
Time After Island Time hooked up with Peter Mayer upon returning from Cancun, Mexico with Jimmy Buffett. He gave an in-depth interview about his music, his life, his feelings and he even played some songs on the acoustic guitar–just for you, the Time After Island Time listeners.
