By now you should know its one of two things when something is posted in this thread.

1. A plea for a date
2. A whine about jimmy not announcing a date

I asked Michael Utley himself yesterday morning in Erie.

He said construction is going slower than projected, and the usual problems with logistics, and, as of now, Hawaii will happen sometime around February.

Yeah, I agree, but I probably shouldn't do any traveling in December anyway.
Hawaii will still be there in February, and we'll have just as great a time, and, since it IS February, will probably enjoy it that much more.

I just wonder how much higher the airfares will be then.

Is Hawaii in February the OFF PEAK season on the Islands or do I have my seasons backward? If off season, air and hotel could be cheaper. :wench: [smilie=happydance.gif]

There's not so much an off-peak.... :-? But summer and holidays are the worst, so Feb shouldn't be TOO bad...

It took 30-plus years to build, and it takes 10 minutes to drive from one end to the other. (Halawa Hgts to Kailua).

Whale Season

I know that Maui is fairly crowded in Feb. Hawaii's off peak season to me would be around Sept. - Nov.

Just because I could use some cheering up, how are Jimmy's shows in Hawaii? They sound like a lot of fun

I would book it right now if I had a date. As it stands now I doubt whatever date he chooses will workout for me. :(
