Kirsten & JD, as well as others, have just been amazing on RM! Vulnerable, funny, stoic, and 100% authentic, during this entire haze, dating back to last weekend when the news broke. There is no "playbook" for what they've been tasked. They captured everyone's emotions, along with their own, so eloquently appropriate. I know our guy Carson Cooper would be riding shotgun, from his parrot perch, as they share stories & memories of Jimmy.
Thank you RM! Through the years & miles & tears & smiles, this week! You got it perfectly, right!

Perfectly stated. Listening to the Radio Margaritaville team has been very comforting over the last few days.

Re: RM - Thank You!
What an unorthodox business plan...... Give away your music for free and maintain a video streaming service to broadcast live shows as they happened. Any bean counter would have told Jimmy that he was crazy to provide free concerts live, as that would dilute and reduce attendance at the shows and, subsequently, lower his earnings. Ah, but the wise man from the Gulf Coast knew his audience and fans better than anyone else and knew that those "perks" provided to everyone would only strengthen his fan base and add to the adoration of his fans. These live audio and video feeds will provide us lucky fans with viewing and listening material for years to come. I hope that Jimmy's people find a way to determine a set time on a fixed day(s) where the videos can be enjoyed by all, just as they were for all these years when they happened live. Maybe a regular Saturday night show?
The String Cheese Incident broadcast a live show video every Friday night during Covid-riddled 2020 and it keep many of their fans sane and hopeful for better times ahead.
I'm sure RM will be around for years to come to make our road trips, parties and cook-outs more enjoyable with "Jimmy Sounds". Thanks to him, the crew, staff and personalities who have supported and introduced JB's offering for these many years.
P.S. Who went to a drive-in theater a few years ago to watch Jimmy and the gang perform the show from the outdoor theater in Texas that was simulcast to drive-ins around the country? Would there be a market to do this occasionally with preconcert tailgating parties and maybe a live opening live music act? Fans could vote on their favorite show from a predetermined list and the winner would be broadcast. Trying to keep the party and memories alive. Your thoughts?

Wonderfully put! Yes... THANK YOU, RM! Even though you all were hurting, you pulled it together and helped us through the best way possible... simply remembering Jimmy...C4Parrothead wrote: September 6, 2023 11:33 am Kirsten & JD, as well as others, have just been amazing on RM!
