Last Mango in Paradise
The Captain Tony special on Time After Island Time On-Demand
Saloon Owner, Storyteller, Mayor, and the Salt of Key West
Anthony Tarracino, 1916-2008

The interview with Captain Tony Tarracino is being broadcast in memorial to a friend who has touched the lives of so many. It was recorded in Key West, Florida the place on earth that he loved so very much when he was 88 years old and was originally broadcast on Radio Margaritaville. We wanted people who met Captain Tony and also those who never got the chance to hear the story of a man who has made the world a better place and as he said “has made every heart beat count.” From the very beginnings in Elizabeth, New Jersey–the story is a fascinating one, sure to inspire.

On the second episode, Captain Tony talks about being elected mayor of Key West. Very interesting why he won… He also talks about the fact that the nights he slept above the bar…he was never really alone… The “Last Mango in Paris” album celebrates it’s 20th year anniversary. Tarracino talks about the song written for him, and what some of the words mean…and how some of the words will only be understood by he and Jimmy Buffett.

You’ll laugh and you may walk away from the show with a different perspective on your own life.

Our lives change like the weather but a legend never dies.

  1. This trend is accelerating and the demand for quality property is increasing
significantly. You can plan to spend as little as US$45
to $50 dollars per square foot for a standard home or villa with all standard
materials such as: Dominican ceramic tiles, aluminum
windows, treated pine wood. Florida land averages near $5,000
per acre, while cheaper land can be found in the Midwest and Mountain areas.
