From an article at the Country Standard Time: Show Dog Nashville singer Mac McAnally will donate all his artist royalties from his debut single “You First“, released on April 27, to the Wounded Warriors Project, which helps wounded soldiers.
The single, which is available through all digital music retailers, is prelude to a full album expected to be completed in June as McAnally works recording into his touring schedule. A longtime member of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer band, McAnally has been on the road much of this year.
McAnally has enjoyed success as a songwriter. He wrote the recent number one hit Down The Road for Kenny Chesney and sang it with him.
