From WDAM TV 7: “Margaritaville Casino readies for grand opening”
“Things are moving very rapidly. We’re finalizing our staff additions, doing our interviews and our screenings. The office, we now have more than 50 executives in it filling out those staff needs. Things are going well, everyday is a party,” Margaritaville President and CEO, Tom Brosig said.
There’s good reason for the party mood, and managers aren’t the only ones excited. Mr. Jimmy Buffett himself approves.
“He was here on Monday. We had a private meeting where we went through a lot of his philosophical desires to see implemented on the property. For us it was very good that we had already built most of those already; there were very few changes. The report back was that he was absolutely ecstatic when he saw that it epitomizes the authenticity that we wanted to capture in his hometown casino,” Brosig said.
The Margaritaville Casino and Resort opens the week of May 20th.
