Good morning. I couldn't log onto BN yesterday. First I thought I might be having computer problems but I couldn't get in on my phone either. Now I see there weren't any posts yesterday so I guess it wasn't just me. Looks like it's working today, so far

Hiya Bill!

Had a doctor appointment this morning where I was supposed to give another pint of blood, in order to treat my hemochromatosis. I see the blood doc next week, and that's why I was supposed to give a pint. Instead I just gave 2 vials, which was annoying, since this place is NOT close to home. Oh well.

I see a new dentist tomorrow. Hope that goes well.

Today was an early (11:30) trip to the beach. We stayed until close to 3 because the winds really became strong and we were concerned about our umbrella (since we were already in the sun enough by then). Came home, showered and then had an adult beverage (Carolina Cabana's own American Blonde Ale - yummy) out in the Carolina Room where a nice cross breeze was blowing. Dinner tonight will be a salad since we ate out last night with some neighbors at a local burger joint.

I not only have poor sight, I'm tech impaired. A new electric trolling motor is installed on my boat. It's by Garmin and is satellite connected, so I hit a button and it anchors the boat.When I turned on the remote, its' little screen said 'not connected." I watched videos, wrote down steps and tried it on water. NOTHING! This deal was very expensive, and I was at my wit's end. I called a support line and the young guy rattled off a bunch of steps. I asked him to repeat them slowwwwwwly, so I could right them down. It worked!
